Register for Classes | Contact Us
Before you can register for classes, you
must have applied to your college of choice and received a registration
appointment. If you haven't done so already, you
can apply for admission here.
Once you have applied for admission, the
college will contact you and give you the details about what to
do next.
Just to give you a general idea, the next
steps include making appointments for some or all of the following:
- – Learn
about academic programs and how to transfer or earn a degree
or certificate. You’ll also learn about support services
like financial aid, tutoring, counseling and health services.
- – We'll
assess your math and English skills to help you find the most
appropriate classes.
- – A
counselor will work with you to develop an educational
plan that will be the most direct
route to your goals.
Next you will receive a registration appointment.
This is the earliest time that you can register for classes. You
can register any time AFTER your registration appointment. However,
we strongly encourage you to register for classes as soon as possible
because classes do fill up. Before you begin the registration process,
it is best if you get a college catalog and a class schedule and
decide what classes
you want to take. You should make note of the sections that work
best for you. It's always a good idea to have alternate sections
in mind just in case your first choices are no longer available. When you're ready to register
for classes, you have three choices. Remember, you should know
the section number of the classes
you want to add before you begin the registration process.
Register over the phone using our STEP system. (STEP
= Student Telephone Enrollment Program)
Before you call
any of these phone numbers, be prepared with the SECTION
NUMBERS of the classes you want to add.
